Lubrication: Cleaning
the Carriage Rod is NOT recommended. If, however, the Carriage Rod
was wiped clean, replace the felt washers on the Carriage Assembly.
The felt washers are impregnated with oil to provide the necessary
lubrication for the Carriage Rod. |
