NOTE: Refer to the table on » Screw Types for information on screw types.

 


1. Perform the Service Utility "Unlock Carriage" » Unlock Carriage.

NOTE: Switch off the Printer after performing this Utility.

 


2. Remove the Right Hand Cover » Right Hand Cover.

3. Manually move the Carriage out of the Service Station.

4. Disconnect the Service Station and Aerosol Fan Cables (connectors P5 and P9) from the Interconnect PCA.

5. Remove 2 T-15 screws (Type E) from inside the Service Station.

6. Make sure you lift the Carriage Lock before sliding out the Service Station out of the Printer.



7. Slide the Assembly towards you (to the right) and remove.
Installing the Service Station/Aerosol Fan

NOTE: When installing the Service Station, make sure that you line up the tabs on the Service Station with the structure of the Service Station Holder.
