Media-Axis Motor
Removal
Switch off the product and remove the power cable.
1.
Remove the
Rear Door
.
2.
Remove the
Left Connector Cover
.
3.
Disconnect the Media-Axis Motor cable from the PrintMech PCA.
4.
Remove two T-15 screws (
Type R
) that secure the Media-Axis Motor.
5.
Loosen two T-20 screws (
Type B
) that secure the Media-Axis Motor Bracket.
6.
Remove the Media-Axis Motor from the Printer.
When reinstalling the parts, make sure you apply the grease (included with the support part) to the gears.
After installing the NEW Media-Axis Motor, make sure you perform the following Service Calibration:
